Competition Terms and Conditions

1. The promoter of ‘A Great Deal For You Competition’ is run by DicksDealsGlobal.
2. The competition is not limited to entrants who reside outside of Australia. But any prizes that are region coded (i.e DVD’s DVD players) are used at their own risk and also any entrant under the age of 18 must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to take part.
3. The competition begins on 13th Of October 2008 and all entries must be registered with DicksDealsGlobal and the DicksDealsGlobal Newsletter, no later than 5.00pm on 20th December 2008. Entries received after this time (irrespective of when sent) will not be included in the draw.
4. To be eligible for any of the prize’s you must complete the registration form on the Dicks Deals competition page which will be available from the main DicksDealsGlobal web site.
5. Entry to the competition is not open to any employees, contractors or agents of DicksDealsGlobal directly involved in the promotion or running of the competition. Entry is limited to one form per person.
6. Acceptance of a prize by a winner constitutes permission for DicksDealsGlobal to use the winners email to show that it is a genuine competition without compensation, unless otherwise prohibited by law.
7. DickDealsGlobal accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries. The instructions on how to enter the competition and other details contained within the entry form are incorporated by reference and form part of these ‘terms and conditions’.
8. The winner will be drawn by random selection on 21st Of December 2008. The winner will be notified by phone or by email of their win and how to collect their prize. If the winner does not claim the prize within one month of entering, the prize will be redrawn from the remaining entries. Also an email will be sent out to all entries to show who has won the competition and which prizes have been won.
9. In the event that a winner fails to satisfy any of the ‘terms and conditions’ of the competition, that winner shall not be entitled to the prize and DicksDealsGlobal may at its own discretion award the prize to another entrant in accordance with the ‘terms and conditions’
10. A prize must be taken as stated and is nontransferable, not exchangeable and not redeemable for cash. If the specified prize becomes unavailable for any reason, DicksDealsGlobal may, but is under no obligation to substitute a prize of like or equal value. Any tax payable as a result of a prize being awarded or received will be the prize winner’s responsibility.
11. DicksDealsGlobal takes no responsibility for the loss of the prize due to incorrect or imprecise delivery details provided by a winner.

12. DicksDealsGlobal reserves the right to use the entrant’s email details to make contact and/ or forward further information about Dicks Deals products, i.e Newsletter. DicksDealsGlobal will not use the entrant’s personal information for any other purpose without their consent unless required or authorised to do so by law. As we value your business with us.
13. DicksDealsGlobal and its related entities, employees, contractors, servants or agents shall not be liable for and accept no responsibility for any accident, loss, injury or damage to any individual or property arising out of any act or omission, whether negligent or otherwise in conjunction with the competition or the prize occurring either during or after the competition.
14. Participation in the competition constitutes the entrant’s unconditional agreement to and acceptance of the ‘terms and conditions’. The entrant is responsible for ensuring his or her familiarity with the ‘terms and conditions’. DicksDealsGlobal decision not to enforce a specific restriction does not constitute a waiver of that restriction or of the ‘terms and conditions’ generally.
